This is the story of AI Hack the biggest AI hackathon in Tunisia, Africa and Middle East Region.
“AI Hack Tunisia 2019” is a 3 days AI hackathon in which many dreams came true. It gathered the AI community in one place for one goal & made people get inspired from the best AI Experts and mentors coming from Google, InstaDeep, Expensya and other entities..
1000+ participants, 80 competing groups, 36 nationalities
18 Partners (Google, Expensya, GIZ, Ministry of Industry…)
The first 20 hour-hackathon is an individual Machine Learning challenge. This challenge is intended to individuals passionate about AI.
The second one is a Team/Startup based competition focused on AI/ML related technologies, to change the world and innovate with the power of AI.
I participate in the Startup competition, It was an amazing experience, we didn’t win but for me winning was when we got an investor and a first client for the Startup that we came up with in the AI Hack, it may seem crazy but it happened.
This experience was a life changing and i really appreciate all who took part to make this amazing event a reality. it was a real success and I hope there will be a next AI HAck 2.0
